THE HUNT MINISERIES FINALE.

As 2016 draws to a close so did THE HUNT miniseries with the final issue having hit the stores on the 21st December. Due to this, I've decided to pop up the entire first issue in celebration of it's completion.

I couldn't be more pleased with how it all came together and delighted with the reception it received. It garnered quite a dedicated fanbase and following and I want to thank everyone who reached out to us with a kind word in their support of the book. Thanks also to the various comicbook retailers who gave their support (Forbidden Planet, Big Bang Comics in Dublin, and my local shop here in Vancouver, Golden Age Collectables... to name but a few) and to my friends and family who kept me focused and somewhat 'sane' while obsessing over this project for the good part of a year.

The book wouldn't exist without the participation of my partners-in-crime: Joana Lafuente and Jim Campbell. Their combined talents raised the bar at every turn and made for a very easy and pleasurable collaboration. And, of course, a sincere thank you to my publisher Jim Valentino at Image/Shadowline for having faith in both me and the project and for actually getting the book out there into the world.

I loved writing these characters and hope to return to the world of THE HUNT at some stage.
I feel like we've only just scratched the surface...

Cheers!

I still haven't managed to track down ( "hunt"? ) the last issue but hopefully I'll manage to find a copy soon. As you know, Colin, I'm a huge fan of this involving, disturbing and emotional series and can't wait to read the finale! But... only five issues? We want more!
Anyway, keep up the great work and thanks again for the wonderful art prints you sent to me and James. It was really very kind of you. When I finally reactivate my blog I'll give you a shout-out :-)

You're very welcome, Simon. I appreciate all the support and interest you've both shown in the book. I've a lot more stories to tell. Watch this space;) Let me know if you can a hold of that final issue...will try to sort you out, if not.

Cheers!

Hi,

I just bought and read the trade for the Hunt and liked it a lot.
While you brought the series to a fitting finale (which in itself is a feat many creators fail), the world you created seems ripe to tell more, many more stories.
