Your Vinyl Resting Place?

Sonic Death of the Day: And Vinyly, a British record label, is offering audiophiles a vinyl resting place to beat the band: For a nominal fee of £2000, your postmortem remains will be pressed into an LP containing an audio recording of your choosing.

"Cock, shit, piss; is that it!?" voiced by me, on a loop, backed with the Lone Ranger Theme, would seem pretty apt!?

The Palsak T.

Das from UXB wearing an Angie Palsak T-shirt.

Angie kindly did me a drawing up some time back and I said I would put the image on one of the kids T-shirts. The background image is also one of Angie's paintings.

Hope it's to your liking Angie.

Monster

I thought I would give a mention to Rich and Deborah Burn's upcoming short movie Monster. I did some storyboards for them some time back and now having wrapped the shoot, I just recently got to see the rough edit... and have to say it's looking great!

They also snagged Jodelle Ferland (Silent Hill, Tideland) for the main role.

I can't show too many of the boards as they may give away some of the key plot (and Rich would probably throw a hissy fit and slap me -- oh wait, that's me fast forwarding to when he's a rich and famous Hollywood director and he won't hire me for love or money...!)

Here's a couple that I think are safe:

Angel Gang Revisted...

Having fun colouring in some of these previous posts, so here's another:

The only change to the original drawing was that I took out Ratty's tail.

Con Coloured

I thought I would throw some colour on this one:
I mean what's the use of drawing up "bloody hand prints", if they are not bleedin' bright gory red?

Mean Dredd

Messing around with Dredd.

I had intended to try and do up a more iconic looking Dredd piece- but the doodle took on a life of its on, so I thought I would just go along with it.

It was a lot more detailed to begin with; lots of bike wreckage and so on, but I decided to pull it back and keep it simple.

The muzzle flashes of the lawgiver were an afterthought.

Kinda works...

Blacks, whites and some gray area....

Here's some sample pages, again, done up on the Cintiq (I have to stop mentioning that, as everything I do now is pretty much digital based) I quite like how these turned out and was especially pleased with the flashback intro at the top of the third page.

I love working in black and white. I added the gray tones help to add some lighting effects.
