The Fink

There is another version of this, where he actually has two arms and two legs...

This one however just made for a better silhouette.

Update: Ok... here's the other version:

Actually losing Ratty's tail is a bit of an improvement as it's somewhat distracting (bit of a design element gone wrong there...)

In truth, there's really only room for Mike McMahon's Fink Angel.

I can live with that.

Sigh...

I like 'em both. Dude is creepy looking, what with his little hat and all.

Fink's a great design/character. I was just looking through his first 2000AD appearance last night(drawn by McMahon) The art is just sublime...

Good to hear from you Josh!

isn't Mike McMahon supposed to have done a soon-to-be-released Tank Girl strip? or did I dream it? man, let's hope so, 'ey?

Anything McMahon, is good!

Cheers Joe.

I love your take on these classic 2000 A.D. villains. I'm partial to the Fink drawing with both arms and legs showing, but I really love your take on Ratty's tail.

Mean Machine has always been my favorite of the gang, and even though I feel his arm is way too big in this drawing, your take on him is pretty damn cool.

Seeing you do these drawings really takes me back to when I was fully engrossed in 2000 A.D. as a teenager.

Glad you liked my take on The Fink, Dangersmith.

I always felt that Mean Machines arm should be ridiculously large, like a mini-crane has been attached to him!
It certainly strays from the original design that's for sure ;)

Appreciate the comments.

Cheers.
