I have decided to take a bit of a break this weekend.
I just got back from a bike ride with my son and have hired a speedboat for a day out tomorrow! The good thing is that you don't have any instructor along with you; you do in fact drive the thing yourself! Now I don't even drive a car, never have, probably never will... but a feckin' speedboat!
Have to get me some Miami Vice tunes all keyed up for the ipod tomorrow, red speedos and a fake tan. Okay maybe not the speedos as even my fingers seemed to react in a stiffened 'wince' when I typed that.
Also got two movies to check out:
Bronson(Just started watching this and have to say I'm already completely hooked, Tom Hardy's performance looks amazing):
Drag me to Hell:
I'll be going to the cinema tonight to watch this one...
Don't let me down Raimi!

Family see Jesus image in Marmite.
It may not be immediately obvious to everyone, but one family are convinced they can see the face of Jesus on the lid of a jar of Marmite.
Claire Allen, 36, said she was the first to notice the image on the underside of the lid as she was putting the yeast spread on her son's toast.
Her husband Gareth, 37, said he could not believe his eyes when he saw it.
Mr Allen, of Ystrad, Rhondda, said: "The kids are still eating it, but we kept the lid."
He explained: "Claire saw it first and called her dad to come and take a photo of it.
"When I first looked at it I wasn't sure, but when I moved it away from me it started coming out. I thought yeah, she's right - that's the image of Jesus.
Mrs Allen said her 14-year-old son Jamie had also remarked on the likeness.
She told the South Wales Echo: "Straight away Jamie said 'that looks like God', and my other boys (Robbie, four, and Tomas, 11) even said they could see a face.
"People might think I'm nuts, but I like to think it's Jesus looking out for us.
"We've had a tough couple of months; my mum's been really ill and it's comforting to think that if he is there, he's watching over us."
I once saw the image of the king of the demons 'Pazuzu' embedded into my shit! Two little pieces of corn formed the eyes and the wings were some semi-digested prawns. After I pissed on it, it suddenly transformed into the spitting image of Dane Cook.
Weird.
Thanks Craig

Bring Back Star Trek
I posted the Justin Lee Collins 'Bring Back Star Wars' some time back and was happy to see that he has also put one together on Star Trek!
It's very funny and worth watching for the Nichelle Nichols and Leonard Nimoy interviews alone! Of course the re-enactment of 'Kirk fighting the Gorn' wasn't half bad either...
I finally got around to watching the movie yesterday and have to say I really enjoyed it. I didn't think it was the "Spectacular blockbuster of the summer" that everyone else seems to be reporting; but I did think that Abrams did a fine job and has given the franchise a much needed 'Kick in the ass!'
All of BBST is available on Youtube...
What!? Like I'm gonna post it all? Why you ungrateful little....!!^^&&!!
Paths of Glory
A faithful soldier, without fear,
He loved his girl for one whole year,
For one whole year and longer yet,
His love for her, he'd ne'er forget.
This youth to foreign land did roam,
While his true love, fell ill at home.
Sick unto death, she no one heard.
Three days and nights she spoke no word.
And when the youth received the news,
That his dear love, her life may lose,
He left his place and all he had,
To see his love, went this young lad...
He took her in his arms to hold,
She was not warm, forever cold.
Oh quick, oh quick, bring light to me,
Else my love dies, no one will see...
Pallbearers we need two times three,
Six farmhands they are so heavy.
It must be six of soldiers brave,
To carry my love to her grave.
A long black coat, I must now wear.
A sorrow great, is what I bear.
A sorrow great and so much more,
My grief it will end nevermore.

Green Lantern Trailer.
Now that is good casting...
Funnily enough, my wife bumped into Nathan Fillion last week when out shopping.
He was buying bread...
Wholegrain!!!
Yeah, it's an exciting life out here in Vancouver.
