Starred in one of my all time favorite television shows and a fine actor to boot, died today at the age of 80.

Oooh...I hadn't heard. He was fab a the psychotic monarch in Braveheart. Have to admit to not seeing much of the prisoner. Life at home with my parents was trippy enough/
