Catterick
I have a great love for British comedy especially when it involves anything by Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer.
This is another show that seemed to pass by my radar as it was originally broadcast in 2004--!! Six years after the fact --how the hell did I miss this!?
Anyhow...
The cast includes Morwenna Banks(Saxondale/Absolutely), Matt Lucas (Little Britain), Mark Benton(The Street), Reece Shearsmith and Mark Gatiss (both from that other brilliant TV series: League of Gentlemen) Actually, it's quite similar in tone to League and if pushed you could even view it as some sort of bizzare cross-over or distant cousin or maybe even a bizarre cross dressing cousin who just came over from Kuala Lumpur to make sweet love to your dead goldfish...
Surreal, disturbing, darkly comic and incredibly funny-- well worth 3hrs of your time!
God bless you Youtube..

Rap against rape
I just cannot look away:
I guess their hearts in the right place, their talent however would appear to be buried deep somewhere in Gay Byrnes ass. No rape pun intended.
Stole from the sadly now defunct:

Bravo for ALEX TOTH
Over at www.sidebarnation.com there is an interview with a bunch of artists discussing their love of Alex Toth (Klaus Janson, John Paul Leon, Howard Chaykin, Tim Sale and Paul Pope to name but a few) Well worth the listen.
Two Years
Well it is now two years now that I have been 'sporadically' blogging to the world ( if you equate the world to be Joe A and some foul-mouthed dwarf transvestite from Australia who I have to keep deleting...)
