Back from the Depths UXB review.
"look closely and you’ll see smatterings of great horror and sci-fi, all
combined to create something original and superbly fantastical. While
starting a little slow, Lorimer builds a steady pace and sprinkles
enough mystery and intrigue to keep it interesting until the twist. I
keep talking about the twist, hence I’ve added little description of
what happens – needless to say, it’s really rather good and takes the
story in a different direction, ramping the horror and action up,
building on the sci-fi he’s delivered at the beginning and producing an
ending that leaves you thinking ‘what the hell was that?’, but in that
sort of gleeful head-sprouts-eyes-and-legs, ‘you gotta be fucking
kidding’ sort of way."

UXB Multiversity.
Another very good review of UXB. This one is from Multiversity comics!
"Lorimer’s efforts are enhanced further by his amazing talent for dialogue. Every character in “UXB” has a unique attitude and unique mannerisms. Their speech patterns set them apart from one another almost as much as their visual distinctions. Despite the very different world they occupy, you’ll feel like you know them from their first introduction. After all, who hasn’t met the jerk who makes crude jokes and swears way too much? Who hasn’t met the sensitive guy who allows himself to be bullied out of being compassionate? These aren’t exactly standard archetypes, and they have much more nuance than can be easily expressed here."

Broken Frontier UXB review
"Writer-artist Colin Lorimer expertly weaves a grim, darkly sardonic story of survival and depravity in a post-apocalyptic London. UXB is a great read. While the premise may not be the most original, Lorimer has done a commendable job of revitalizing familiar genre tropes with this beautiful and compelling narrative."

New Project: CURSE
Curse is a new comic from Boom! by and all-star team of Michael Moreci, Tim Daniel, Riley Rossmo and Colin Lorimer
The first issue ships in January and it is a four issue mini series.
Laney Griffith is a man who will do anything to save his son from leukemia, but the cost of treatment has broken him financially. When he pursues an elusive murderer in the wilderness of his small, rural community, in the hopes of securing a substantial bounty, Laney is confronted with something he never could have expected: a werewolf. The captive lycan, in human form, turns Laney’s life upside-down, forcing him to confront his haunted past and race against the clock—because the wolf will return, and Laney’s son’s condition continues to worsen. CURSE is a story of a family’s survival at all costs.

UXB on sale today!
Here's another advance review you can check out over at Fanboy comics
"UXB summed up in just a few words: weird, violent, horrific, bizarre, immature, funny, and strange. Reading UXB is like reading a mix of Lord of the Flies, The Walking Dead, and a rated R version of Alvin and the Chipmunks. Das, Muc, and Rif are royally messed up in the head even before being permanently bonded to the suits, and the way they abuse others (and each other) and force them to provide entertainment seems exactly what a group of children granted superpowers would do with them. They recognize no boundaries and have no understanding of the fragility of life, because these concerns are beneath them, thanks to the suits."

Great review of UXB over at Big Shiny Robot
"Being surprised by a story is one of the true joys in life. I’m not talking about having seen parts of a trailer spoil some of a movie, or an accidental comment on a social media thread spoiling a television show you’ve yet to watch off of the DVR. No, I’m talking about enjoying a story totally new to you in every way. That’s the thrill I had during my read of the new graphic novel, UXB, from Dark Horse."

UXB Teaser.
My son Olin just for fun, worked up a little teaser trailer for UXB. It's his first attempt at something like this and I think he did a great job! He's completely self-taught and had no help from me whatsoever....

UXB OGN
Long time between posts.
I have finally wrapped up work on my book UXB. 144 pages, HC with a lot of extras thrown in for good measure! I can't even begin to tell you how much time and effort went into this one...
The book does include some of the original UXB website content, however most of those pages were completely redrawn and recoloured. The three shorts from Dark Horse Presents were also reworked slightly and, as I had originally planned, fit quite seamlessly within and are very much part of the overall story arc.
So bar the shorts...it's all new content!
I'll start popping up some pages soon.
It will be available to buy October 2nd in your local comic/book store. You can pre-order here:
http://www.darkhorse.com/Books/23-133/UXB-HC
That's also a temp cover they have featured...not final.
Cheers!
